TV and film production

Kit, set pieces, props and costumes moved to studios and locations on dedicated vans, at the hour the schedule needs.

We move:

  • Call time, not office time. Collections and deliveries overnight and at weekends, 365 days a year.
  • Dedicated Luton. One production's kit on one van, never co-loaded, with blankets and straps.
  • Location access. Vans up to 3.5 tonnes reach streets and sites where lorries cannot.
  • Urgent replacements. A failed lens or light collected from the hire company within 30 to 60 minutes.

What tv and film customers move with us

Productions move camera and lighting kit, grip equipment, flight cases, set pieces, props, costume rails, catering equipment and rushes between hire companies, studios, workshops and locations. Schedules change by the hour and the unit base may be a field. We run 25 vans up to 3.5 tonnes, curtain-sided and box Lutons, from Smethwick to every UK postcode, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The problems are usual ones: a 5am call, a location with no loading bay, flight cases too heavy to lift, and kit that must not be mixed with anyone else's. We book around call times. Our drivers handle flight cases and crated set pieces. Lutons carry costume rails upright. Every job is one load on one dedicated vehicle, strapped and blanketed, with GPS tracking so the production office knows where it is.

How a booking works

To book, enter the postcodes for an instant price on van routes, or send the unit base location and call sheet times to our operations team for a quote. Ready now gives a collection within 30 to 60 minutes. Book in advance covers wrap-out and returns to hire companies. The driver takes a photo and a signature at delivery, which the hire company will want to see.

Have ready the unit base or studio address with gate and parking details, the name and phone number of the person receiving on site, a list of cases with weights, the hire company's return reference, and any time the kit must be on set. If the schedule moves, call us and we will move the booking with it.

TV and film delivery FAQ

Can you deliver to a location at 5am?

Yes. We work 24 hours a day, every day, and book deliveries to the call time rather than office hours.

Can you return hire kit at wrap?

Yes. Give us the hire company's return reference and opening hours and the driver collects from the unit base and delivers direct.

Will our kit be on a van with other loads?

No. Every job is one production's load on one dedicated vehicle, strapped and blanketed.

What if the schedule changes after we book?

Call our operations team and we move the booking. We are open around the clock, so there is always someone to speak to.
