Art and antiques
Furniture, framed works and crated pieces moved on a dedicated van with blankets and straps, never co-loaded.
We move:
- Never co-loaded. Your pieces are the only load, so nothing else is stacked against them.
- Blankets and straps. Every item wrapped and strapped against movement in a box Luton.
- Tail-lift loading. Heavy furniture and crates lowered to the ground, not lifted by hand.
- Hand over with proof. A photo at collection and at delivery, with the receiver's signature.
What art and antiques customers move with us
Dealers, auction houses, galleries, restorers and private buyers move antique furniture, framed pictures, mirrors, crated sculpture, ceramics in boxes and auction lots between salerooms, shops, workshops and homes. Pieces are often one of a kind and have a date by which they must be collected. We run 25 vans up to 3.5 tonnes, including box Lutons, from Smethwick to every UK postcode.
What matters is that the piece travels alone and does not move in the van. Every job is one load on one dedicated vehicle, never co-loaded. The driver uses blankets and straps and loads so that nothing leans on a frame or a polished surface. The driver takes heavy furniture and crates on and off without lifting by hand. We are a general carrier, not a specialist fine art firm, and our vans are not climate controlled.

How a booking works
To book, enter the postcodes for an instant price on van routes. Book in advance for auction collections, which must fall within the saleroom's collection days, or Ready now for a collection within 30 to 60 minutes. Our operations team confirms the driver and tracks the van by GPS. The driver photographs each piece at collection and at delivery and takes a signature.
Have ready the lot numbers or a description of each piece, approximate dimensions and weight, whether items are already crated or need blanket wrapping, the saleroom's collection reference and hours, and access at the delivery address such as stairs, narrow doors or parking. Tell us about any loose or fragile parts before collection.
Art and antiques delivery FAQ
Are your vans climate controlled?
No. We carry pieces in blanketed, strapped dedicated vans at ambient temperature. If a work needs climate control, we are not the right carrier for it.
Can you collect a lot from an auction house?
Yes. Give us the lot numbers, the paid invoice or release reference and the collection days, and the driver collects within them.
Will my furniture travel with other loads?
No. Every job is one load on one dedicated vehicle.
Do you wrap the items?
The driver blanket wraps and straps each piece in the van. Framed works and ceramics should be boxed or crated by you before collection.
The vehicles we use for art and antiques work
From a single part in a small van to a full load on an artic through our carriers network.
