FMCG and consumer goods
Pallets of ambient consumer goods moved between producers, warehouses and retailers on dedicated vans.
We move:
- Booking slots kept. Timed arrival at RDC and warehouse slots, tracked by GPS as the van runs.
- Shortfalls covered. A pallet short on an order collected within 30 to 60 minutes and sent on its own van.
- Tail-lift as standard. Pallets lowered to the ground where the receiving site has no forklift free.
- One load, one vehicle. Never co-loaded, so your product is not stacked with other freight.
What fmcg customers move with us
Food and drink producers, household and personal care brands, and their distributors move pallets of ambient product between factories, co-packers, warehouses, distribution centres and retailers. Orders are often tied to a delivery slot, and a short pallet can mean a missed order. We run 25 vans up to 3.5 tonnes, curtain-sided and box Lutons, from Smethwick to every UK postcode, 24 hours a day.
The usual issues are slots that must be kept, a pallet left behind on the main load, and product that cannot be mixed with other freight. Every job is one load on one vehicle, never co-loaded, tracked by GPS. Our vans are ambient only and we say so. For loads beyond a van, we arrange 7.5 tonne, 18 tonne and articulated vehicles through our carriers network, quoted by our team.

How a booking works
To book, enter the postcodes for an instant price on van routes. Ready now means collection within 30 to 60 minutes, which covers a shortfall sent after the main delivery. Book in advance covers planned moves to a distribution centre slot. Our operations team confirms the driver and the slot reference. The driver takes a photo and a signature at the receiving dock.
Have ready the delivery booking reference and slot time, the dock or gate details, the pallet count, type and weights, any product or batch references the receiver will check, and the contact at both ends. Tell us at booking if the goods are ambient food so the driver uses a clean box van.
FMCG delivery FAQ
Can you keep a distribution centre booking slot?
Yes. Give us the slot time and reference at booking and we plan the collection so the van arrives inside it, tracked by GPS.
Do you offer chilled or frozen transport?
No. Our vans are ambient only.
Can you send one pallet that was missed off an order?
Yes. A dedicated van collects within 30 to 60 minutes and delivers direct.
How many pallets fit on a van?
It depends on pallet size and weight within the 3.5 tonne limit. Tell us the count and weights and our team confirms the vehicle.
