Utilities

Cable, pipe, meters, switchgear and urgent repair parts delivered to depots and work sites, any hour, every UK postcode.

We move:

  • Outage response. A van collecting within 30 to 60 minutes, at any hour, to get a repair part to site.
  • Tail-lift for drums. Cable drums, pipe and pallets of fittings lowered to the ground at the roadside.
  • Every UK postcode. Depots, substations, pumping stations and remote compounds.
  • ADR drivers. Four drivers hold full ADR for treatment chemicals and gas cylinders, declared in writing before booking.

What utilities customers move with us

Water, electricity, gas and telecoms companies and their contractors move cable drums, pipe and fittings, meters, switchgear, pumps, valves, transformers, treatment chemicals and tools between stores, depots and work sites. When a network fault happens, the part has to be on site before the crew can finish. We run 25 vans up to 3.5 tonnes, from Smethwick to every UK postcode, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Work sites are often a roadside compound or a remote substation with no lifting equipment. Our drivers put drums and pallets on the ground. Every job is one load on one vehicle, never co-loaded, GPS tracked. Treatment chemicals and gas cylinders are dangerous goods, and four of our drivers hold full ADR, with goods carried in line with the UK regulations and declared in writing before booking.
