How this route works
Book online or by phone, any hour of the day. A driver from our Smethwick base collects within 30 to 60 minutes, loads with the tail-lift, and drives straight to Oxford with no depot stops and no other customers' goods on board. You get a photo and a signed proof of delivery as soon as the goods are off the van.
M40 and A34 or A40. Oxford zero emission zone charges apply in the city centre. Oxford's zero emission zone pilot covers a handful of city centre streets and charges non-electric vans entering them; most deliveries avoid it. Bus gates and park and ride rules make the centre slow, so we plan the approach.

Questions about this route
How long does a dedicated delivery from Birmingham to Oxford take?
About 1 hour 30 minutes driving once the van is loaded, around 75 road miles. We collect within 30 to 60 minutes of booking, so a same-day delivery is normal.
Can you deliver into Oxford city centre and the colleges?
Yes. Many colleges have no vehicle access, so the van parks at the nearest permitted point and the driver walks the goods in. Tell us the porter's lodge and any delivery window.
Will the Oxford zero emission zone add a charge?
Only if the address is inside the pilot zone streets and the van is not electric. We check the postcode when quoting and any charge is shown separately at cost.
