How this route works

Book online or by phone, any hour of the day. A driver from our Smethwick base collects within 30 to 60 minutes, loads with the tail-lift, and drives straight to Bristol with no depot stops and no other customers' goods on board. You get a photo and a signed proof of delivery as soon as the goods are off the van.

M5 all the way. Bristol clean air zone charges apply to older vans and are added at cost. Bristol's clean air zone covers the centre and charges non-compliant vans daily; we add it at cost. The Clifton Suspension Bridge has a toll and weight limit, so we route via the Portway or Cumberland Basin instead.

Where we deliver in Bristol

Questions about this route

How long does a dedicated delivery from Birmingham to Bristol take?

About 1 hour 45 minutes driving once the van is loaded, around 90 road miles. We collect within 30 to 60 minutes of booking, so a same-day delivery is normal.

Can you deliver to Royal Portbury Dock or Avonmouth docks?

Yes. Both need a booking reference and the driver's name and vehicle registration in advance, and the driver carries photo ID. Send the details when you book.

Will the Bristol clean air zone add to my price?

Only if the delivery is inside the zone and the van allocated is not compliant. Most of our fleet is Euro 6 and pays nothing; if a charge applies, it is shown separately at cost.

Can you collect in Bristol and deliver to Birmingham?

Yes. Bristol is a daily run in both directions, and collections from Avonmouth for the Midlands are common because the depots there ship nationally.
