How this route works

Book online or by phone, any hour of the day. A driver from our Smethwick base collects within 30 to 60 minutes, loads with the tail-lift, and drives straight to Aberdeen with no depot stops and no other customers' goods on board. You get a photo and a signed proof of delivery as soon as the goods are off the van.

A long run, often planned with a second driver or an overnight. The price is shown straight away for every van size. Aberdeen's low emission zone bans non-compliant vehicles from the city centre with a penalty, so only compliant vans go inside; the industrial estates and the harbour are outside it, and the AWPR bypass is toll-free.

Questions about this route

How long does a dedicated delivery from Birmingham to Aberdeen take?

About 7 hours 30 minutes driving once the van is loaded, around 420 road miles. We collect within 30 to 60 minutes of booking, so a same-day delivery is normal.

Is Aberdeen a same-day run?

Only with two drivers. At 420 miles and seven and a half hours, one driver cannot deliver and return in a day, so we quote either a double-manned van or an overnight stop with delivery the next morning.

Can you deliver to the harbour and offshore supply bases?

Yes. We need the vessel or base reference, the quay or shed and the driver's details in advance. Hazardous goods go with one of our ADR-qualified drivers.

Can you collect in Aberdeen and deliver to Birmingham?

Yes. Aberdeen is a two-day job, so we always look for a collection in the North East of Scotland for the Midlands to bring the van back loaded.
